Environmental Policy
At Data Techniques, we are all committed to providing our customers with the highest service from the very first contact through to customer acceptance and beyond.
To ensure that our environmental standards of service to customers and third party organisations remain constant as well as high, whilst the business continues to grow we have established this Environment System based on the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2004.
We will ensure our customer’s needs and requirements are met and continually monitored. Our system will be measured, monitored and analysed and our staff will be aware of our work and its impact on the environment.
Under its policy Data Techniques will endeavour to:
- Meet the requirements of all relevant legislation
- Continuously review our business objectives in order to identify improvement opportunities
- Be committed to environmental sustainability within all our business activities
- Avoid pollution of the environment through waste or the excessive use of energy
- Make use of energy and transport resources efficiently minimising waste wherever possible
- Seek to reduce the consumption of materials, re-using in preference to disposing of them wherever reasonably practicable and promote recycling and the use of recycled materials
- Avoid, eliminate or at least reduce the level of any harmful emissions which may arise from our activities
- Develop an awareness of relevant environmental issues amongst staff by education and training
- Recognise the importance of environmental best practise and strive to achieve continual improvement in identifying our environmental aspects and minimising any adverse impacts which may arise from them
- Achieve the above by implementation of an Environmental Management System operated in tandem with our Quality and Health & Safety policies
- This policy is reviewed annually
